Caterpillars
Shanteé Bentzen: Hello! My name is Shanteé Bentzen and I will be one of the Lead Teachers in the Caterpillar Room (6 weeks 12 months). I have been involved in educating children for the past two years at an accredited center, which included acting as Lead Teacher, mentor, and helper to my fellow coworkers. I find myself drawn to the field of teaching young children because I feel that children are fascinating and it's a wonderful and enriching experience to be a part of their educational development.

I am attending Montgomery College where I am close to earning my Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education. Once I graduate I would like to continue with my education and attend either Hood College or The Universities at Shady Grove to earn my Bachelor's Degree. I have my 90hr Preschool Certificate and the 45 Hour Infant & Toddler Certificate.
I currently live in Frederick, MD with my husband Isaac and my puppy Pochaco. In addition to my love for cleaning and being well organized, I enjoy singing Karaoke at least once a week with my dad, and would eventually like to audition for American Idol. So watch out America…I could be your next American Idol!

I love knowing that the moment a child learns something new or reaches a new and exciting milestone in the life, that I had a big part in helping them get there. I enjoy being a part of their educational experience and it is truly an honor to watch them develop and grow. I am anxious to begin the new experience of working at Watch Me Grow and learning all about your children.

Tara Schuesslar: Hi! My name is Tara Schuessler and I am one of the Lead Teachers in the Caterpillar A room. I've been in the Early Childhood field for 4 years and have been a center floater, assistant teacher and senior counselor.

It really makes my day when the children are excited to see me.
