Summary of Responsibilities: Responsible for the oversight of clinical and administrative day to day operations of the program as well as the clinical and administrative oversite for mental health therapists and in-home stabilizers assigned to the program.  Works closely with Division Director on policy, protocol and procedural recommendations.  Incumbent looks for opportunities to expand and develop new services.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Oversight of clinical and administrative day to day operations, including direct administrative and clinical supervision of all clinicians (including review of timesheets and reimbursements, essential learning, tracking licensure, privileging and credentialing, co-signing clinical documentation and supervision of the staff.
• Ensures compliance with all regulations and standards of COMAR, Medicaid, ADAA, MHA, OHCQ, and CARF and implementation of evidence based practices.
• Work in collaboration with the Director of Quality Assurance on implementation and tracking of performance and outcome measures and assists with quality improvement.
• Manage contracts with Montgomery County DHHS.
• Develop recommendations for policy, protocols and procedures.
• Complete psychosocial assessments and maintain a small caseload of families.
• Establish and maintain relationships with outside agencies and represent FSI and the program on external committees as required.
• Responsible for hiring, clinical training, orientation, evaluation and disciplinary action of staff.
• Provide clinical supervision to graduate licensed staff, interns, including assisting with psychosocial evaluations and.
• Complete required monthly, quarterly and annual reports. Lead weekly team meetings and disseminate meeting minutes to staff.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Qualifications

Master’s degree in one of the following disciplines: Social Work, Counseling, Psychology; must possess an independent practice level mental health license in the state of Maryland and a minimum of three years experience providing behavior health interventions and at least one year of supervisory/management experience. Candidate must have Supervision Certification.
