Substance
Abuse Prevention Education provides
a 10-week program to preschoolers
and their families designed to improve
parent and child interaction in
the areas of self concept, self
responsibility, communication and
decision-making.The program utilizes
the DARE to be You
curriculum, which has been certified
by the Substance Abuse and Mental
Health Services Administration (SAMHSA)
as a National Model Program. The
program is run in various elementary
schools throughout Montgomery County.

of Substance Abuse Prevention Services.
