Brothers
Reaching Out to Help Each Reach
Success:
BROTHERS is a year round program for
young men at Gaithersburg High School
in Gaithersburg, MD, who come together
to support each other in their academic,
social and emotional growth. The BROTHERS
program introduces positive role models
to young men to help them tackle life's
daily challenges. College students
mentor high school students, who in
turn mentor middle and elementary
students.
Since
1989, the BROTHERS program has helped
young men find the discipline and
confidence to make safe and positive
life choices. Once enrolled in the
program, young BROTHERS remain members
for life and continue to reach out
to others.
